Welcome, Coach Andrew!

More good news for The T! On July 1, the T welcomes its second Full Time Teaching Professional when Andrew Kriete arrives to join our teaching staff. Andrew hails from Morristown, NJ, played Varsity Squash for 4 years at Amherst College, finished his career at the #1 position and was voted the team’s most valuable player. After college, he played two years of professional squash on the US Satellite tour making it as high as #11. He has also coached for four years in NJ, MA and NYC, working with adults and top ranked juniors. Andrew brings to the T a precise game of demonstrated mastery, a love for teaching and inspiring children, and a belief that squash can be a vehicle for teaching skills, imparting life-lessons and building community. At The T, Andrew will focus on training groups, adult league play and working with our upper level juniors. He will also work with Laura at our camps this summer.

We will host a ‘Welcome Andrew Party’ on Thursday July 9th. And Andrew will play in a Pro Squash exhibition on Saturday July 18th. Stay tuned for details.
